Welcome to Metro Flyers RC Club, Inc.
The Metro Flyers RC club was formed in late 2011 by two area RC pilots, Mike Robin and Bill Jennings, who recognized the need to locate and develop additional flying sites in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro Area. The years 2010/2011 saw the shutdown of one field, and another was lost in 2013. As a result, some area pilots are forced to travel more than 50 miles to access fields either far north or south of the metro area.
Shortly after founding Minnesota's 52nd AMA Charter Club, their first achievement was the discovery and development of a winter flying site for 2012 in Richfield, MN. Click Flying Sites above for current news.
